Dear Parishioners

As you know, during the past two years we have been repainting the church interior. John Canning Studios, the most prestigious restoration studio in the United States, has completed the work in the sanctuary and side chapels. We can be assured that their work will be of the highest quality.

The total cost to repaint the church interior is $625,000., including scaffolding. While this is a huge amount of money, I ask that you lend a hand by making a donation of $1,000., payable over the next 10 months. Each priest of the parish is making a gift of $1,000., and I ask that you join us. This isn’t so large an amount if you break it down into 10 monthly gifts:  it would be $100.00 per month, or $25.00 per week, or $3.57 per day.  If you sacrifice one cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee and donut, or one Starbucks coffee each day, and you’ll have it. Your kindness will be memorialized with your name or your family name, and your generosity will be in the tradition of those poor immigrants who sacrificed the little they had to build our magnificent church.
